Does Anyone Catch Squid Upriver?

Far from being an expert squidder I simply have a few spots that I get them reasonably regular. They are all close to the front. Yarra Bay, Watts, Kurnell, Towra, Brighton in the Bay and Jibbon, Gunnamatta, Burraneer in PH. The furthest I get them upriver is Southwest Arm and occasionally Gymea Baths.

I'm not looking for specific spots but just want to know do squid venture further up the river or do they mainly congregate at the big end.

If the water is clear and clean then yes, there is Squid at Berowra and that is way up the system.
