damoksy Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Hey all, I've been browsing these forums for a while now and been picking up loads of top pointers and stories, so thanks to all. I also recently moved to Revesby and have been trying a few spots on the Georges river and was wondering if anyone could point me to other good spots to try. I've tried Illawong, around Alfred Points bridge and and a few others along Henry Lawson. Haven't had too much success but I am a bit of a noobie and still learning. Cheers, Damian
tide'n'knots Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 mate have a look on a map and find the speed boat club, next to that there is a bit of a park and straight out from that there is a rock bar, you will get good bream at that spot. Pete.
Quinnie480 Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 (edited) Mate there are plenty of good spots in that section of the Georges, try flicking SP's at the boats moored around picnic point, I have caught some cracker bream there. Just up from alfreds point bridge is a place called the moons, plenty of bream and flathead around there. Just remember fish love structure, if you're using fresh bait or SP's you can't go wrong. Good luck, Bill Edited November 16, 2008 by Quinnie480
