Flattie On Sps

Hi fellow Raiders, I have been following this site for over a year now and thought it was time to actually put a post up instead of reading and learning from everyone elses!

I caught this flattie a few days ago at Birken head point while casting a few SPs around practising my technique. It was my first legal flattie on SPs! Had to swim her all the way to the little beach as i was only using 6lb trace! she was happy to swim away after a few photos. also lost one smaller and one larger one due to thrown hooks.

KEEP UP ALL THE GREAT REPORTS AS I AM LEARNING SO MUCH FROM YOU ALL.

Just a little no name one, its in the photo hanging out of the mouth. Its a reddy-purple with silver flecks through it.

I wasnt fussed on what SP i had on as i was just practising, but i cant complain about the result:) I guess I must of been doing something right!

nice flatty mate.....well done on getting your first on plastics. i must be the only left to not have caught anything on sps yet. might have to pull the finger out and give them another crack
