Settlers at Burns Creek area, East of Honiara and its surrounding communities have reconciled yesterday afternoon.

In a ceremony held at the South Sea Evangelical Church building in the area, members of Burns Creek community have apologised for what their youths have caused to surrounding communities, institutions and business houses.

Previously a lot of criminal activities have taken place in the surrounding area blaming youths there to have been that cause of all these activities.

The ceremony started late because of minor disagreements which was later solved.

The reconciliation feast planned to be held after the service was unable to take place because all locally baked and cooked food were stolen at night.

Irony at its best

Hi Carl What I meant was posting up articles with photos of daily life in general in the Solomons. If there's nothing respectable going on over there, you could probably include photos of people syphoning petrol and constables running off with teller machines, but that should only come as a sideline to the main lifestyle I hope.

Cheers
