Bully
fellas, the kings that have been hanging around Goat Island and the Harbour bridge have dissappeared off the face of the earth. Two weeks ago there were everywhere. every day there were bust ups from 8am till 8pm. i havent seen a single school in two weeks. has anyone seen them ? i thought they might have moved further east past fort denison. but there have not been any reports. Saw them last week out the front of circular key on the way out, they were still in the same place some 6 hours later on the way back in. Yesterday I saw more on the balls head side of goat. thesquidking
I read on another post the other day "this is the calm before the storm" and i have to agree with that, before you know it there will be kings caught in big numbers on a daily basis and if the last few seasons are to go by the kings should be of good size as each year the average size is up on the year before. Not saying that there are no kings around at the moment, you just have to work for them, though you are right the kings have slowed down the last few weeks. Cheers. netic
Got a report from a mate today saying he fished yesterday and got over 15 kings in the Harbour main, as they do each year the kings start off pre season in the warmer waters of MH and West of the bridge but as summer approaches they moved into the harbour main, The kings are still there, they just have moved location.....
