Mattofoz Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 (edited) Im an amateur fisherman who fishes the hawkesbury river (landbased) quite regularly and I want to start catching some squid. Just wondering if some one can tell me some landbased squid locations (You can't catch them in the Hawkesbury or Bobbin Head, can you?) that are easy to get to, ideal tides and how to rig a squid jig effectively??? Anything would be much appreciated? Im apologising for putting this topic in the wrong place! Edited November 18, 2008 by Mattofoz

aleung Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I got quite a few in bays not far away from apple tree bay, also saw people picked up squid from the boat ramp last year, but it is not firing up yet as far as I know.
locodave Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Bobbin head wharf, where the boat ramp is, people are there catching squid all the time
