ryan Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 can anyone tell me if i can get a 35' flybridge cruiser in to pick someone up off the pontoon there. If i cant would i be able to do it at the kyeemagh/cooks river pontoon.
Flightmanager Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Im not 100% sure , but I think the wharf at Penrhyn Rd has been closed off during the construction work. I believe the ramp is still open though. Ross
pelican Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 It is very shallow there ross and I wouldn't be going there with a berty 35. Mess at the monent with the work going on from what others have said. Check your height for the cooks but if you have a bimini on the top station and fixed outriggers - forget it. Clearance would be 10 or 12 feet at best at a guess. The older waterways maps had the clearances of bridges on them so you may want to look them up.
Flightmanager Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Quite agree Pel , from memory only about 4-6 feet in the main channel to the ramp . Ross
