you can try Clifton Gardens near Mosman for a land based fish. It is a long jetty, has a swimming enclosure, toilets and BBQ facilities for a great day out.

You wont leave here without having caught even one fish...

The only ting is that it can get crowded at times as it is very popular to fish from.

btw try the baths in gunamatta bay they are one of my favs

The risk you take having similiar names like landbased and land based is that you'll probably get double exposure by having two hard luck stories going at once. :D

i live in Mt Druitt

went to Brooklyn today got 1 bream 2 flatties all to small to keep under the bridge

that's a long way to go. I saw on a fishing show the other week a father fishing with his youg son in Penrith. Must be Nepean river. Catching bass and mullet.

if your willing to travel try the wharf at dolls point behind the club i pulled in a whopper 84cm flatty and dropped a even bigger one 20mins before a couple of summers ago full moon works best i think from memory it was a run out tide around 1-3am i could be wrong been fishing many times since than psssssst keep it a secret but first full moon in febuary is when i caught it beach rods are the go and frozen pillys from the servo up the road :thumbup: if u have live mullet who knows what size you'll catch :1yikes: a mates got as picture of it i should get it and post it hes holding the fish proud and said it was hes catch :074:

Berry island reserve at wollstonecraft .park in shirley street go to the right hand side of the park and there is a swing set and play area for kids and you can fish right there agaisnt the fence .so if the kids get bored theres swings for them . there is also a short bush walk aroud berry island [ about half a klm] .i take my kids here often [ 5 and 3] and they love it . they can catch bream , flathead , flounder , tailor ,slimies and salmon .
