TIMMY C Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Hi all. just wondering if any Raiders could give me a hand with some info/spots on crabbing the hawkesbury. i have been constantly trying to catch these elusive buggers for the last 4 weeks in the Hawkesbury but just cant seem to stike gold. i have been trying spots such as Akuna Bay, out the front of dangar island, Berowra creeks and the like. im using the witches hats style of traps. if anyone could point me in the right direction in regards to some spots i would be very greatful. please pm me with any details. cheers Tim

I assume they would be there now also.

LittleNoah Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 my oldies were up there for a holiday not long ago and my old man got a few blue swimmers in the witches hat traps just across from where they stayed at bar point. They werent huge but not bad. Don't know what he used for bait. Good luck.
TIMMY C Posted November 22, 2008 Author Posted November 22, 2008 Thanks for all your help fellas. might venture up a couple of the creeks and try for the odd muddie around mooney and make my way back to a few sandy drop offs around the place. will let you all know how i go ( if the weather permits) TIM
