rizzo Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 G'day raiders i have this rod at home never used always wanted just have'nt got around to it and unsure on what to use it on and for, Its a Daiwa Procaster-X LINEAR Interline rod (no runners). 6 foot medium light spin 6-12lb/3.5-14grams,maybe suited for a 1500 or 2000 model reel, Has anyone out there know of this type of rod or have used one? Any pros or cons too about this rod Cheers Rizzo

Any pros or cons too about this rod Cheers Rizzo Hi Rizzo, I own a 10/20lb Procaster-Z linear interline rod I use it for Barra to troll and cast. We use a Team Daiwa Viento with 20lb braid and wind on leaders the only hastle with this is the knots must be neat and small to avoid hooking up on the end guide. It takes a bit to get used to fishing with but I like it very much and it always goes with us on barra Trips.
