the_lure
Went for a quick flick with a few lures off one of the wharfs in port hacking today, wasnt expecting too much. Got there and Bonito where busting up big schools of anchovies, got onto a few bonito in the 30 - 40cm range , when pulling one in i noticed 3 nice kings following it in, and right under my feet about 2m of water and 1m off the wharf! Changed from a metal to a 100mm squidgie flickbait, just in time to see a school of about 30 bonito come flying by the wharf and getting harrased by 10 or so kings, threw the flickbait at the kings and was on! Ended up getting him to the edge of the wharf, but not net and was undersize (about 55cm at a guess) so couldnt Gaf, ended up taking a dive under the pylon and snapped him off.. oh well lots of fun anyway cheers Chris PS : going back tomoroow , just in case

Martin
Not a bad outcome for a quick flick. Hope you do well on your next outing and there is some added size size to those kingfish
the_lure
It was good to meet you last night Chris. How'd you guys end up? 33326[/snapback] Hi Andrew good to meet you also, doughnuts on the Jew front ... anything for you? I lost another little king this morning though again in my work attire, it's becoming my trademark fishing outfit... just look for the man in a suit with a spin rod in hand!
