lennon_2101 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Hi guys, Heading down JB for a couple of days next week and just wondering if there is anything worth reporting around the area at the moment. Hoping to get out to the banks or the block and cheese for some kings, but haven't heard alot coming out of there at the moment. Cheers!

Hoping to get out to the banks or the block and cheese for some kings, but haven't heard alot coming out of there at the moment. Cheers! I'm heading down tonight to fish tomorrow - weather ain't looking fantastic, so it's not likely I'll hit the banks Anyway - I'll let ya know how we go. Mike
Steve07 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I know that good size snapper where on the chew a couple weeks back, most boats coming in from the local reefs with a few fish to clean.Find a good spot in 30m of water, get out early with some quality squid or striped tuna strips & give it a go. If the weather is good get out past the banks as there have been schools of striped tuna, albacore & yellowfin about, with fish being taken while trolling skirts & jet heads. Kings have been very quiet there so far. Steve
