yakfishing Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Anywhere theres water mate! Myself, I do botany bay sometimes but youve gotta watch the wind there. Berowra waters is bloody beautiful, middle harbour as suggested is good, I usually go to Roseville bridge, but try around clifton gardens aswell. Ive been wanting to try down in port hacking, but havent gotten up to it yet. And I'm mostly seen in Narrabeen lake as it's the easiest place when my back is playing up, its nice and quiet and theres plently of fish in there.

yakfishing Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 (edited) I'm hanging to hit Narra again and I'd be happy to catch up and show you around the place, but I'm not gonna be able to get there for a couple of weeks I think. I'm going to the SP workshop next sunday, and saturday I'm busy, but the weekend after that I'll drop u a PM and see if youre keen. I'm no expert tho, I'm only just getting into SPs, and persistent back problems have kept off the yak for tooooooooooo long What I usually do is drift with a couple of baits out the side and usually find some bream and flattys. I like the pipeclay pt area (it should say it on the map) but theres plently of other places - creek mouths, even up the creeks can be good. I dont know if you saw my other post I replied to you about narra but check out this article if you havn't already http://www.fishraider.com.au/fishing-artic...abeen-lakes.php I talk to all the yak fishers I come across, but I'll look out for a raider sticker in the mean time! Ive got a little pirate flag for mine but I dont have a flag "pole" yet, but I should stick out like dogs balls when Ive got it up! Edited November 30, 2008 by yakfishing
