I am looking to go somewhere within an hour an will be driving from the Hills Area. NSW Can anyone suggest somewhere with easy access that isn’t a pain to get to? Cheers

Cheers just under the roseville bridge is always productive. Park your car on the northern side of the river and walk along the edge casting as you go. Flatties and jews are quite common.
slinkymalinky Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 If you just want fun catching them, then the Parramatta River is productive (I just wouldn't eat anything I caught). You can get access right in Parramatta around the ferry wharf or there's lots of good shoreline down around Canada Bay. If you want some cleaner water, then I second Roseville as a nice spot. You can park in the national park and there is a walking trail that follows up the river for several kilometers. Cheers, Slinky
Faulks Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 thanks guys i have just got home after a few hours at roseville. No Flatties but picked up a nice 50-55cm Jew.. It was put back for next time.. It was nice and peaceful down there and i will return.. Cheers
