stevefish
Has anyone tried with success or otherwise downrigging lures for sydney kings. i am wondering the potential of gulp squid or stickbaits then my imagination goes to shallow dive minnows, and all kinds of amazing crap that i tend to cart around. im new to downrigging so i will start with conventional tactics before i troll around crazy stuff. cheers Steve
VA911
Mate, i have downrigged a white sluggo unweighted. It did work but wouldnt bother doing it unless your completly out of bait.
Guest Big-Banana
I fish spoons off my downrigger a lot of the time when I'm a little too lazy for squid. It doesn't get more fish than bait, but it's a bloody top standby. I've found Purple and Red and White the best.
