clem
A couple of weeks ago I took the family out for a quick picnic/fish.We ended up at Blues point only to realize that I had forgotten my tackle box at home.YIP I DID.Had rods, bait, esky burly and even snacks.Drove around to look for a tackle shop but could not find any.I had a good laugh about it but the misses was not to impressed with me.Anyway we decided to have a picnic none the less and as the family settled in at the park I had to go for a walk to check out the fishing activities.I noticed a fellow fisho packing up so I decided to have a chat with him and see what he had caught.Yourie from the Phillipines was very friendly and forthcoming with info.He turned out to be such a genuine and friendly person who to my surprise offered me one of his KINGIES that he had caught earlier. He only had 2 but said that 1 is plenty for him and that he was going to give it away in any case.So my blunder turned out to be a blessing in disguise.HA! HA! I could not thank him enough and even offered him some dollars but he refused. He put it6 in a blackbag and off I went to find the family. They refused to believe me until I went back and walked with Yourie to proove to them that I did not find it in the BIN.I will try and attach some pics.Lots more to tell but misses on my case again about dinner. She really LOVES me. Cheers A.dawg Hey there. He used live squid that he caught earlier. He was there from 10pm the night b4.He landed the one early morning and the other at 4pm.I got there at 5pm.How is that 4timing.Yes it is west of the bridge but how far is west?We were pretty close to the bridge.Hopefully someone out there can suggest how far west is still ok.I have also been wondering why no Kingies have been caught at night or am I wrong?Maybe I should ask these questions in a new topic.
