chrism1986
Hi Fellow Fishraiders, I was wondering if anyone can shed some knowledge on catching live bait. Eg./ Yakkas and Small Squid for jews/kings. I have been trying to catch yellowtail everywhere and cant seem to ever get onto a school, and the same goes for squid. Is the best option to fish with the fly jigs for yakkas? I have also been fishing along towra weed beds for squid and can never get a hold of any, I am using a squid jig about 10cm long and bright orange/yellow, retreiving at a slow jerk rate. I am fairly new to fishing live bait as I am quite good at soft plastics but want to get more kings and jew this summer, so any help on catching or rigs or locations in botany bay would be appreciated. Thanks guys.. Chris.
