Advice Needed Please

gday raiders , i need some honest opinions on this make of boat and everones estimate at what they would be prepared to pay for it as i know someone selling it . Im looking for a bay/light offshore rig that is strong and handles well for a good price. The hull is in excellent condition with no weaknesses or marks,Its a sea viking cuddy cab easyrider (probly 17 or so years old on a good trailer (new springs/axle/bearings and electric winch.The attractive point of sale is a 2006 model mercury oil injected engine with just 50 hrs on the metre. It has an electic winch and is very tidy boat. Has all safety gear including flares etc, has baitboards etc,

My question is what would i expect to pay for this rig as idescribed. please note pics. ANY advice wheather its good or bad about this type/brand of boat is GREATLY appreciated. Thankyou all very much.cam.

How long is the boat and how big is the motor...cant tell by pics.....im guessing 17FT? and 90hp? Im no expert but if this is the case probably $10000?

ill have a stab and say around 17-18 foot i seen the same boat on a auction site it had sold for $4500 advertised for $5000 with a 60hp on it but the one your talking about has a new motor so the prices goes up alot

I think that she would be a little underpowered , and out in the ocean where im guessing you would be using this boat she might struggle to get on the plane....

Hi Cam, that old girl is a Nautiglass with the forward slopping windscreen-quite unique. The boat is 16 foot and would be fine with that 60HP Merc. They are a big cc engine which results in good torque, which is what is needed to plane boats. Being late model it should give you years of trouble free boating and as far as old tech outboards go they were and still are good engines. Give it a compression check, check the gear oil, look for any signs of corrosion and lack of care and then most importantly go for a run and see if YOU like the boat. If she is propped correctly you would want to see 5500 at WOT and if so it will perform well.

A fair market price would be $7-$8K for that rig.
