Davemmm
I spent a week fishing there and did absolutely no good until we were packed up and having lunch before heading home when I caught a beauty. My boat also floated away one morning and I had to swim after it. Whilst this doesn't help you I got a smile whilst sharing my great holiday memories. achjimmy
Any tips on where to fish and what to target? I'll be taking my 4.5m tinny up with me. cheers Was up there last hols. Didnt do much good either, water ways are very shallow as it has not been dredged for ever. seen some people doing alright flicking plastics at the sand banks hanging over the channel. Also end of the break wall near the golf course
brendong
Awesome place....heaps of places to fish...loads to flatty's, breambo's, whiting, black fish, Jews (not that i've bagged one yet but dad managed a 20KG model off the beach once) Off the sand flats (which are every where) with nippers for whiting and flat head.. Plastics up warrel creek for flatty's and hard bods off the floating racks for breambo's. Put the boat in under the road bridge to scotts head for bass. Possibilities are endless we've even caught Kings near the entrance (which can be hairy if you engine doesnt start first pull)
