southerly
Paddled out to Longy this morning in the company of no less than 17 yaks plus a flotilla of boats. Pulled a 56cm trevally early then the rats showed up. Caught a vast number of rat kings on squid strips and SP's. Dropped my second last squid strip and hooked up to a better fish, after a bit of a fight 73cm of skinny king came into the boat, at least it was legal. Next drop with the last of the squid and I hooked up solid again, for a few minutes it was a stalemate with neither I or the fish gaining any line, eventually 83cm of king came into the yak. A good feed and good fun in excellent conditions. David 56cm trev The start of the rats Garry hooked up to a king, nice conditions today Dinner
