Fishing South Palmy Or North Avalon

Hey Guys

I am hoping this rain will stop and I will be able to go for fish tomorrow. While my brother goes for surf I am going for a fish to get lunch.

After last weeks effort from beach at Palmy I am looking to have a knock off the rocks at south Palmy or north Avalon. Is there any techniques I should use. I am going to chase bream on a light 10 foot rod with cut pillies as bait. I am also going to use an 8 foot rod with 20lb braid with a 40 gram metal for a spin to chase a tailor, salmon or maybe a small king. hahah
