arpie
Hi Pete Possibly something to do with the increased boating traffic, but most likely, they have pigged out on all those scrummy Hawkesbury Prawns that are floating around all day & night! (Why go for something old & dead when the live stuff is there for the taking??) Shame you haven't had a feed ...... I put all mine back the other day - 2 x 30's & 1 x 37! Same up here, Pete - I haven't bothered going near the main lake (near the bridge) due to the zillions of boaties. I've done The Keys a couple of times & Tuncurry 'up a creek' & found a bass river too! Maybe go further up the river instead of towards the sea? Even up that creek that Cam & I went up? Bass up there, they reckon! Better luck next time! Cheerio Roberta Cam is coming up next week for a week - when are you coming up??

Davemmm
I haven't landed bream in any great numbers in the Hacking either. Flathead aren't going too bad but the bream have been quietish. Or maybe I'm an ordinary fisho too. Dave

tumra
yeah the bream in the hacking have been a bit light on... In my last 2 outings struggled to land 3 bream in total. Though i tell you if you are looking at catching baby snapper there are plenty in the hacking at the moment. Can go through a block of pilchards in a day catching these annoying buggers!!!
