jewgaffer
Well done Arked Grant Shirley says I'll have to get my act together and come up for a fish. Our freezer has only a few yakkas left and crumbed flathead, lemon and chips is pretty hard to beat, that's for sure. Is Dougie down for a while Grant? arkedup
Heyy Arked What did u use for bait?? Cheers Panooch Hi Panooch I used fresh filets from small yakkas and from the larger yakkas I cut the filets into two 3 to 4 inch stips tappered at one end to resemble a smaller bait fish Best to be out early all the flatties were caught before sun rise.Once the sun rose the fish went quiet and the holiday crowds rolled in

zen801
Hey Arked, Nice feed of flatties. Mate i reckon the humble flattie is the best eating fish going. Its the only one that all at my place eat. I bring home jew or kingfish and i am the only one who eats it. Enjoy.
