A.dawg Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Picnic at connell's point today brought the rods finished eatting and went to the shore for a fish arrived and the water was receided wth!!!!!!! the shore was filled with washed up dead mullet spotted atleast 20 all about 20-35cm after seeing that didnt want to fish the water so went back for eatting part 2 Anyone know why they are all dead?? SAfisho Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 The Georges River has had dumping occur for decades, much like the Parramatta River and the mullet probably came across some particularly nasty water. Pesticides and other dioxins could have been dumped recently in the area as well. I wouldn't eat anything where you find dead fish floating around, not to mention the Botulism that's been found in the Cooks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
