diver1 Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 has anyone noticed the flatties goen quiet in your area? i was getten a heap in lake macquarie but the last cple a trips to my best spot have produced nuthing, mite head out real early 2morow morning 4 another go. Wait until the days heat up again and its a bit more still then you should be right. Thats in my experiences anyway might be different for others. Ray R Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 G'day Diver, try a severe jerking motion about 3 tweaks at a time, we used chartruse and the pink and white chicken (forgotten its name) jerk shads, both very bright colours yesterday and we scored some nice flatties, they weren't thick but this method aroused a few.. diver1 Posted February 2, 2009 Author Share Posted February 2, 2009 well, after about 2000 casts all i managed was one 45cm flatty, there were 3 guys in another boat flicken plastics and they got nuthing, i dont know y its gone so quiet on lake mac? I havent used them in a long time but I've been told the rule is on dark days use bright colours and on light days use bright colours. Have to give that a shot one day.
