Gday all,

Well, yesterday (Sunday) was just a great day to be enjoying the water, especially at such a bloody nice place as Jerusalem Bay. It was cold in the morning, but wow, what a day! Me and some friends headed out from ATB and picked up some frozen prawns from Cottage Point Kiosk (high tide = no chance for yabbies). While i was waiting to pay for them, i heard this bloke who was hiring a tinnie with his mate say "Gee, i wouldnt mind a go at those bream down there...". He was refering to the the big bream that hang about under the Kiosk. The owner of the place quickly but politely piped up with "ah, they are pet fish...".

Well, i was surprised at the quality of the frozen bait actually, which i haven't bought for a while. I know they were Hawkesbury prawns, which may get me into trouble, but they worked pretty well. Got a couple of flatties in JB, and a decent bream, plus the usual little suspects. We then headed over for a cruise up to Juno, and saw some tailor going ape on the way just downstream from JB. Checked out the big mo-fo of a cruiser that is mored near flint n steel - have seen him in the harbour too - he's a big bugger. Could almost land a small plane on it i recon.

Then headed back in just before lunch. Top day. Very relaxing :-)

Those pet fish eat bread with vigor!

Frank Lowey... name rings a very big bell, but i cant think what he's involved in? Showing my ignorance... on a day like that you dont need a bit boat to feel like a king tho!
