Land based Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Hi all Went up to Berowra waters yesterday morning with a mate about 9am. Walked for about 10 mins up the track find a nice little clearing set up, lines in the water by 9:30. by 11.30 still no fish so we moved up river about 10 more mins it work fish started biting only problem the biggest 1 was 13cm bream so at 1pm we started back to car only to see this lizard or monitor on the track half way back it seen us and run up the tree hoping to be at clifton gardens tomorrow night any advice welcome
The Poacher Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Hi Land Based, Burley hard at clifton gardens, starting at daybreak, and put a live bait out under a float or even free swimming. You can then amuse yourself fishing for whatever else is in your burley trail while you wait for a king. I reckon you would do better there than in the Hawkesbury. The Poacher
