arpie
Thanks for that AJ - Andrew (The Iceman) spotted it too! http://fishraider.com.au/Invision/index.ph...c=38233&hl= I actually went to the newsagent earlier this morning, but it won't hit the stands for another week, apparantly! I'll just have to wait, I guess!!! It was a fun day on the water, we were actually chasing whiting on Sammy pencil lures & when the tailor hit, the fishing just went ballistic!! 3 of us had their lures bitten off (including Starlo!) I managed to hang on to mine Cheerio Roberta

Davemmm
Looking good for that TV spot Roberta. I presume it was Tuross as the flats they show from a high shot look very familiar. Dave
arpie
Yes Dave Tuross flats, near the entrance, before the system closed to the sea. There was a big deep 'harbour' along the edge of the shallows. Starlo tossed his Sammy into it & got a nice tailor. Then I did too, cos I wasn't catching any whiting (my 'walk the dog' is more like a 'drag him by the collar style' & didn't fool the whiting!) My tailor was even bigger than Starlos, then my buddy Kim hooked up as well, but lost the Sammy as did another buddy fishing with us. He then changed to a normal popper & hooked a nice one too! THen I got another 2 - all good sized. The tailor really gave a good fight on 4lb braid & 10-14lb leader. Starlo had suggested the bigger leader as, chasing whiting, you had every chance of catching big flatties as well, so safer to use bigger leaders. Went to the library today to see if they subscription had come in, but no! Cheerio Roberta Edited February 3, 2009 by Roberta
