Probably its better for you to live the boat at a storage place. I think no one wants to be responsible if something happens to it. Atleast at the storage you got it insured.

its completely insured no matter where i leave it. i have a premium policy for that very reason

Hi Punchn2 Gary's idea about having a look in the industrial areas around Maroubra for a factory with undercover space is the best thing anyone could suggest......

There are a lot of factories and workshops where the owners keep their own boat locked up under cover preferring to store them where they work rather than taking them home....... You often see photos of boats advertised sitting in the front yard of a factory.....

If it was me, I would drive around East Pagewood, Matraville or Botany and look for the smaller factory complexes and units and look around for a boat and I'll guarantee I'll find more than one in that area.....

Ask someone with a suitable factory if they have seen any boats parked in the area...... You might even get lucky and find a good bloke where you inquire or better still you might strike a good natured fisherman who has his own boat on the premises with room along side it for your boat who even refuses to charge any money to store and look after your boat for you.........

I know factory space is highly valued these days but there are some blokes who are happy go lucky and still making ends meet and don't give a damn about charging for space. That has been my nature in business and I have more often than not found it to rub off on others, as making money all the time doesn't mean everything to everybody.

Good luck with it mate and keep your chin up.

Cheers
