Saturdat Night Hawkesbury Fishing

Went out fishing around 7pm with my son Flatty Jnr. From Parsley Bay we headed out straight for Juno Point. Drifted along and within 5 minutes got hit by a 80cm Jewie!!! Woohoo!!! and a flathead that was just under size. We drifted up & down a few too many times and then moved on.

We went to our secret location in the mouth of the river and anchored. We caught another big Jewie, big flatty and and a few more jewies that were just undersized, so we released them to grow bigger for another day. We got busted off a few times....something huge????

Had this gigantic flatty right at the net, but the bugger had a temper tantrum and got away. There is always the one that got away!!!!

Out on the water there were plenty of shovel nose sharks out for a swim. This was fun on light gear!! Flatty Jnr had a ball!!!

Headed back about 2am. Another satisfying trip to the Hawkesbury!!!!
