spin Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I used to live around there and three or four mornings (1 hour before sunrise) a week I used to go down there and chase various fish. I found that whole live squid was the best. Depending on the time of the year - Great for Black fish - A few snapper - King Fish near the wash, need to watch the birds they will be ontop of the king fish and when the come close to shore get your live bait in there. - Australian Salmon At night - Very large squid off the tip. - Various Sharks BUT be very careful, it is extremely dangerous. I am pretty careful and have lots of experience, but still I got washed in two or three times. The waves come onto the rock very quickly and with a lot of power. I never went out when the waves were more than 1.5 mtrs.
