royboy Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Bound to happen sooner or later considering all the sightings in the harbour lately. Poor guy . Hope he's alright. That's a clear warning to all to avoid swimming in the harbour but who's responsibility is it to inform the public? Cheers.

Camoman Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Sorry to hear that however I think there is a general consensus that it was bound to happen sooner or later. Hope he recovers quickly.
achjimmy Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Here's the current report: Shark attack Hodgey I thought the ADF used that electronic shark guard system?
arpie Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 There were warnings in the Sunday Paper last weekend, based on increased sightings of BIG sharks by Harbour Charter Operators. Shark sightings & attack reports have been on the news often enough since before xmas - there is always increased activity over summer when the bait schools move up & down the coast. You've just got to be responsible & smart! See Pete's posting from the other day . There is a chart you can download to see all the shark attacks around the world & just see how many have been in Sydney Harbour! Just use your 'find' option to highlight the Sydney ones! http://fishraider.com.au/Invision/index.ph...c=38432&hl= Roberta
glennmreid Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 The bull sharks are so dangerous. They seem to be popping up everywhere. Hope the diver recovers.
