olitay Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 If anyone wants their 5 minutes worth of fame, go down to Clontarf and catch that Bull Shark! This is crazy!. http://www.smh.com.au/national/bondi-shark...90212-85zf.html
Bar Up Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Went out off Coffs Harbour on Tuesday and had two sharks raised to the back of the boat. No berley out but lots of Slimeys around so I guess this is what is bringing them in so close for a feed!
johnno Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Maybe he was breaking into houses also the amount of sharks around is crazy
glennmreid Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 The sharks seem to be popping around alot lately. Must be plenty of food bringing them in.
whi7eindustries Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Well if theres Bonito in the harbour, and the sheer amount of Kingies and Salmon around, you've got to expect predators to follow. I spearfish as well as boat fish and freedive almost every weekend, I'll tell you now, there's alot of sharks off Bondi, its just normal people don't see them, I've seen at least 30 this summer, never had a problem with them, but I never dive early morning or evening, thats asking for trouble. Cheers Tobe
WANNAFISH Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Probably its a good time to have the first shark social.
