Wind and Rain but still Keen

Told the WIfe we are only going to be a hour as we hand no bait except from a single Squid caught the day before.

Call mu Cousin Josh who has bben dieing to get his first King

Managed to catch another small Squid on the way to out

Rigged Josh with the Squid head and told hoim he had the best piece

Was not long before before he as on to his first Ever King, After a few minutes he landed a 60cm King, Although it was only a Rat it is still the best Fish he ever Caught and he was so excited that he was shaking

Re rigged and 5 mintes later landed anothe 55cm Model

We had a few pieces of bait left and the one live Squid, I put the the Live Squid on was on again but this was a much better Fish. My Other Freind has not caught a fish of a real long time so I passed him.

He got excited and reeled too fast which lost the fish, imsure this would finally have been a keeper but thats Fishing

Nice rats. Well done on the first kingie. As well as being his biggest, prob fought 10 times better than any other fish as well!!

Small but still fun, there are certainly plenty around.

Were the big bronzies still around? Thinking of hanging a nice slab on wire trace with 24kg over the side while fishing for kings.

Funny how after a few incidents the government comments on allowing commercial fishing to return in the foreseable future... Such is politics, let's hope they leave the kingies and other fish for us fishos and net off a few more beaches
