Balmoral Island

Went to Balmoral 4 lunch and as all of us keen fisho's would do, I went for a walk to check if the island is any good for a fish.From a distance I saw a few divers in the water so headed over there to see what their catch looked like.As I came closer I noticed no divers but a number of pool noodles tied together with rope that was threaded through 4 silver sales and about 4 rings with wire mesh and a large plastic float.This stretched for about 30m along the edge of the rocks.It must have washed up there.Does anyone have any clue as to what it could be or be from?The noodles were cut up in lengths of about 40mm and there could have been about 20 of them.I looked for any sign of fish but there were none.I'm guessing they got eaten by now if there were any.Just found it strange though.

P.S. Has anyone ever tried fishing there and is it any good and what would you get there and what can I ask next and I think that is enough and what setup would you use and ummmmmmmm.
