kris Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 (edited) Hello again raiders, The rain has reduced most fisherman to the remote control of their television sets as opposed to the usual feeling of holding a fishing rod. I love fishing too much to stay home on a monday night with the day off following. Couple mates and i down at roseville bridge. Fished the pontoon for yakkas, was slow but eventually got 8. Headed over to the bridge and set up for Jewfish, small sharks etc. First yakka gets a clean bite underneath its head. Second yakka i was on. it felt decent i was about half a meter from landing it when it let go. i didnt have it hookd but it was holding onto the yakka. Was upset after that and to top it all off it started to piss down for about 30 mins. Decided to call it a night and head home to a warm shower. They come up there sometimes.

kris Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 Do squid have teeth because my yakka came back in half missed the hook about 1cm. got yakkas on small pieces of pilchard roughly 1cmx1cm in siz.
