Bottom Bashing/jigging Rod

I am after a Rod to match up my Torsa30.

I have a few 15kg & 24Kg Shimano BB Rods, though i am looking at moving up a notch.

Will be using heavy weights and jigs up to a pound and Mono only

I predominantly use my Smith Rod matched with Stella 20000SW for jigging so the torsa will be used more for Bottom Bashing, though i wouldn't disregard jigging if they are on.

Have been looking at the Bluewater series from Shimano, though i dont fancy the non-roller tip and its actual size being 7'6.

how about the tcurve jig rods

the 200 may be to light for 250+ jigs but lighter it should handle it.

as it is a lighter rod, it may have a little more tip for bottom bashing.

or even the jig 400

these rods may be a little short for you at 5ft 8"

Any of the tcurves would do the job. You could have a look at the lucanas modle they are desigined for more of the lighter jigs (from 60-200) and a plus they have a hook keeper near the reel seat so u dont damage the guides. (not shure if it is a roller tip though)

my 2 cents worth
