Octopus Growing Tentacle?

Brothers went fishing with dad today had to attend church so another day no fishing for me But brother caught really big OCcy about 2-3kg but one off its almost meter long tentacles was eatten off we are guess really big tailor or a shark but the weirdest thing was it had a tiny 5cm-10cm tentacle growing back out off it !!! My friend said occy tentacles grow back but i didnt believe him i guess its true then

Absolutely true, the lucky (or unlucky buggers as you see it) can grow back lost "limbs" same as star fish. For a highly evolved species (humans) pitty we can't do the same...................................

We have it all wrong as a species.
