I want to let our landbased fisherman who fish the upper Georges know that quite a few jew up to 80 cms have been caught landbased on Friday night and Sunday.

My friend Cungee George sent me sms pics to my mobile on Sunday night as I was unable to meet him for a

session we planned to have down there. Apparently George caught two, gave one around 80cms to a bi stander and dropped one. He said he caught lots of tailor but caught herring in his poddy trap and lots prawns with claws which he said looked like scampi prawns. he said that he caught the jewfish on the top of the tide stillwater on live herring, nothing on tailor or tailor fillets and one throw back whiting on the live prawns after the jewfish boil up stopped as the tide picked up.

Thanks again Steve/Roosterman for re'sending me Georges mobile pics in emails so I could post them in here.

Hey there Jewgaffer.

Please tell me this is not the session you were planning for us so that I do not show up at your place and .............................................................................................BEG 4 FORGIVENESS. :1prop:

Tell your mate I envy him as I look forward to catching something worthwhile.I have been getting everything together as you requested for the night and would hate it if I missed out.

P.S.Any chance of you suggesting a place on the georges to catch tailor and bream.Send a pm if you wish.

Hi Clem The other landbased session that George and I are are planning to have before the 18th of March when I'm booked in for spinal surgery will be on a private property at Gunderman and it would be handy to have a couple of Fishraiders like yourself on short notice who can bring a couple of beach rods and also do a lot of bait fishing and burley placement and are keen to fish thru two tides changes after a 4pm start. You'll like George, he is very resourceful and is regarded as being a complete fisherman.

Cheers

Great Report, thats what its all about.

Where abouts on the upper Georges?

Musty

Musty a jew around fifteen kilos was caught off the rocks on the SYDNEY SIDE (edited south side - not saying that the south side is too shallow, there's no access to under the bridge on the south side from the boat ramp I use or from the marina side either) directly under Tom Uglys on Friday night and they moved off to fish the station side of Como for the bottom of the tide and got about four or five to a metre all caught within the same hour and no baitfish around.

Hey there again Jewgaffer.

I was confused "again" about where this session is and while chitchatting with the :wife: she asked me do I know exactly where this place is and I said yes it is somewhere along the Georges River.

She laughed and said to me to google it.

Well I did and now realise I was

This however is still not a problem and I am still as keen as ever to go.Look forward to the final arangements.

Cheers Clem
