Wanda Beach

Might be goin fishing up at wanda beach soon... gettin a few newcomers into the whole fishing scene and was just wondering if anyone had any tips on basically anything.. ive never been to that beach so im not sure what its like ... thanksssss fishraiders

When u park at the carpark good to walk about 50 m up the beach towards boat harbour find a good spot and cast for salmon and tailor

PS ALOT OF SHARKS ATM you wont have a chance unless really heavy leader and mainline maybe good to try for jew too...

A.dawg's advice is spot on.

I'd also take a lighter rod/rig and put out a beachworm, bloodworm or pippie for the chance of a whiting, tarwhine or bream.

Try and check out the beach before it's dark. It's much easier to locate the holes and gutters in daylight.

Wanda has only one good size gutter at the moment and heaps of weed i would give it a week to clear up and form some new gutters.

YEHHHHHH i realised lmao me n sum friends went down tonight... terrible weather raining and windy caught we managed a decent flattie and a few average samon and about 1 tonne of weed... highlight of the night was the massive run i got which was followed by a 30 minute slug fest between me and wat ever was on my line.... i had about 10kg line pretty sure it was a shark... but will never no..... what ever it was won the fight i couldnt do anything but listen 2 my drag go on and on and on

mate it happend 2 me... it was the smallest flathead id ever seen maybe 15cm long max... i thought i had something massive ended up being about the whole beaches sea weed plantation
