Better go check what my post was as I didn't realise . Hope it was a decent one with only 10 spelling mistakes and no punctuation. Ha ha .

Thanks

Top effort mate and congratulations,

your posts are always so informative.

How did you go with that old motor Col (hooked 4life) sold to you?

twin 1 :beersmile::beersmile::beersmile:

Pm him the other day.

I wouldn't say sold as the couple of bucks was well due as it saved me a long drive so i'll call that a delivery charge.

Hope Col gets his trim issue sorted.

Been mega busy and it is up to the nephew to do the final tune and start up as it is his "learning" project getting his hands dirty. If he runs it lean he'll cook it so a bit of a learing experience for him.

Completely rebuilt bead blasted block with a new bearings , barrel a, seals , exhaust and rings but I resisted playing with the ports much. Still waiting for the council clean up to get a last couple of brackets but seems they are getting rare to find the parts I need and I might have to resort to chasing down some enthusiasts who will have heaps of em no doubt. If I tightened the head down and added fuel I think it would run with 5 minutes work.

Expect a large plume of smoke in the near future - well next school hols - probably Easter.

Been a bit of fun with the nephew and good to see him skin his knuckles and learn to use an easyout after snapping a bolt when he got a little over enthusiastic.

Thanks for all the nice comments peoples

Cheers
