gazman Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 had a good day out on tuesday fishing broken bay.i drifted with freshly caught yakkas filleted and skinned and cut into long strips.i caught very little until the breeze picked up.managed to bag 7 flatties and six flounder. am curious as to anyone else who has fished the area lately as i must have caught 15 flounder of various sizes but most legal.have fished this area for a lot of years and have never seen so many flounder in the bay.the water was 24 degrees and like a bath. have already eaten the flounder and cant wait to taste a few more as they really are a sweet tasting fish.will go again this weekend and hope to find them chewing again.
Ray R Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Congrats on the flounder and flatties, those flounder sure do taste good, not mch cooking time required either. Where abouts in the bay were you fishing, were you throwing plastics as well.. Cheers..
