Morning Gang,

Doing the boat hire thing in the morning, could anyone please let me know where to take a 5year old and his dad to get some bream or flatties around cottage point..

Like mike said around the drop offs in the bays tends to produce good flatties, whiting and bream. Jerusalem Bay in particular but also Cowan pt and if you are allowed to take the boat up to the mouth of the hawkesbury its a good drift from there back towards jerusalem bay.

Fresh squid, nippers usually do the trick.

try the bays, close to the banks - try and cast about 3-5m from the bank and retrieve. If one side doesnt work - try the other. You should catch a few!
