Frantic Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 Looking at joining the VMR so i can get a callsign to help with logging in and out ,but my question is if i register with say brokenbay and make my donation,do i still have the same callsign when im up the coast at coffs,and is the registration on a statewide database or not ,thanks for any help. craig Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BFB Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 Craig, I have found that you can keep the same call sign but you will need to supply them with your full details as there does not appear to be a nationwide data base. Although in some areas they do not require your details because they will contact your number assocation to gain full details if you get in trouble.
