Avoca Rocks Again

Working from home today, I managed to leave the “office” at 5:00 and was at Avoca within 5 minutes. Finally caught up with Ray R too and had a good chat until the idea of catching a fish finally came up.

I had only brought some light outfits with chrome slices as I was mainly there for some fun. Ray indicated slimeys were due soon and true to his advice they turned up after about a half hours casting. Caught 8 slimies for future bait before packing it in.

As usual when its nice, Avoca is a gem, nice sunset skies and good weather and kind seas. Sorry no photos folks, I forgot to get the camera out (my pics are not that good normally) and I didnt see Rays in hand.

Hope to see you around again Ray, might have to get out in the bowrider if Hutcho cant be tempted out.

G'day Steve, was good to catch up with you and put a face to 'Copsfisher' I was glad those big slimeys came around they are heaps of fun on the light tackle, and yes it is a nice place to spend an arvo..

Sounds like a nice, relaxing session. Avoca is a beautiful spot to fish and it won't be long before those slimeys turn into something yummy like nice snapper.
