hi raiders, went to the fads out sydney harbour saturday morning, caught a couple of dollies undersize, not much around. Most exciting thing was trolling back inside me and blacgrrrrrrrry saw a dorsal fin of a marlin come up to the surface about a few meters away from the boat for at least a good minute that freaked us out.So there must be some marlin out there at the moment....tight lines raiders....

Unfortunately all the dollies off the sydney fads seem to be undersize lately, good fun still but a bit dissappointing when going all the way out & cant keep a few of these great eating fish for the

table.Hopefully might see a run of bigger fish in april if its anything like last season.

cheers

mate same cycle happens every year. you wont hardly see a legal dollie till the end of the season, and then chances are the weather or the current or the water temp wont be in favour . And then their gone . The 20 km trip has simply become not worth it . Whats the point of fishing if u cant at least have the opportuinity of bringing home a feed.

Your frustration is justified.
