framedtrash
when installing a down rigger do you have to have the downrigger installed on the same side as the transducer for the fish finder for it to be able to track the DR bomb?? thanks hopefully ppl are still awake
Blood Knot
Cant hurt to have them on the same side but probably more about the depth and speed you are running the bomb as to whether the bomb will fall inside the transducer cone. Maybe try before finally fix in position. John
VA911
With a good sounder it wont matter which side unless you plan on running it less than say 10 foot. If so why bother with a rigger? I can see mine on each side with the furuno 620 with no dramas at anything over say 7 foot. Why not put 2 on the boat and have some proper fun. olitay
if you have a duel frequency unit, put it on 50K, and it should pick up.
