heffron
I was just wondering if anyone could give me the location of some good fishing spots. I know of places like swansea, stockton, belmont etc. But I want to know the areas of those places which are ideal fishing spots.
knight76
I was just wondering if anyone could give me the location of some good fishing spots. I know of places like swansea, stockton, belmont etc. But I want to know the areas of those places which are ideal fishing spots. I found this site to be fairly useful. http://www.marinews.com/exploring_pop_up.php?region_id=32 Also load up google earth and zoom out a bit to see the landscape, can pick good spots from that. Are you off land or boat? Beach or lake/river? Edited April 20, 2009 by knight76
tevoro
I fished at Newcastle over the Easter weekend, land based. Managed to land a few tailor. Some of the locals there reckoned that Toronto is the best place to fish around there.

I try using the cardial markers but they arn't really any help. I think I need a fish finder beacause all the lakes are huge and so far have been a pain. How big was your tailor? I landed a 3kg tailor trawling with a lure as a joke because I never thought it actually worked, how ironic is that? And it was biggest catch in the boat so far, except for all the sharks but they don't count.
