Ray R
Hi Folks, we went out again early this morning hoping to get a bit of a fish in before the hurricane hit, well guess what, we did for about an hour and then the wind hit, we tried all over the place trying to find some respite from the blow but it didn't happen, so about 9:00am we pulled the pin. So unfortunately there are no fish stories apart from a few small reddies , a flathead and a little whiting, I did however manage to capture some nice morning pics. Thats it until our next adventure.. Cheers... arpie
Hi Ray Shame the wind didn't abate! I know how you felt!! I just got back from camping at lake St Clair - perfect on Fri afternoon when I arrived ....... at 11pm, galeforce winds came up & stayed for the next 2 days! Not fun! No sleep for 2 nights, either! Better luck next time! Cheerio Roberta
Boog's Boat
Hi Ray, Patonga wharf produced on the rising tide this morning it wasn't as bad in the bay as it was out on the river. I picked up a nice little 46cm flathead on a Nuclear chicken, which was promptly released to fight another day. I to was finished by 9:00 as it was starting to get a little windy and I knew the Bacon and Eggs were about to hit the Fry Pan. There is always next week. But I think these Westerlies are going to be around for a while so I'll be sticking to land Based. Nath
