Tweed Porcupine

If anyone sees a boat outside the Tweed tomorrow that looks like a porcupine, don't worry. It's just Jewhunter and I heading out for a day's fishing. At last count I think I had about 107 outfits rigged up ready to go... not sure how many JH will bring... :074:

If there are any other Raiders on the water up our way, say hi on VHF. Call sign is 'Slinky'

Cheers, Slinky

All rigged & ready to go!! :yahoo:

We don't get too many chances to get over the Tweed bar in "Slinky" but tomorrow looks like a cracker.

The baro is a bit low but we'll give it a good crack.

Hopefully we'll have something to report tomorrow arvo.

Cheers,

Grant.

.......You crack me up Slinky.

.....If it's not already taken, I think I've finally settled on a name for my boat

:Funny-Post: Slinky.... You and Grant should be out of the current and it would be only natural that you would expect to double your chances with over a 100 rods out on the drift back from Sydney.

GT... Porcupine would be a top name for a boat and a top call sign too  especially if you had a couple of other members in the family who named their boats Penguin and Platypus.. the Coast Guard might call Platypus and Penguin and say .... any sign of Porcupine there's a Greek lady on the phone called Rinocerous saying..... Roger tell Cedric, Cecil and Clem that dinners nearly ready over here at the Zoo :D

Cheers

I'd love to see your rocket launcher - it must be ten times wider than the boat. No need for outriggers anymore.
